Deepening of theoretical, methodological, psychological and IT professional competences of future teachers of music; creation and use of educational surroundings aimed at growing of effectiveness of education of music process in pedagogical purposes; study of pupils / students in educational process; realization of process of musical education in accordance with educational program; use of modern science-based methods and means of musical education; application of modern means of estimation of teaching results; realization of person oriented approach to education and evolution of pupils / students with teaching motivation forming; forming of person & value oriented attitude of students to IT-technologies as tools of pedagogue and musician; acquisition of historical, theoretical and methodological knowledge in IT-technologies applied in education; training of musical-pedagogical and psychological-pedagogical analysis of different types and forms of teaching and training computer programs applied in musical education; gaining experience in practical work with different types and forms of musical computer programs of good opportunities in professional activities of teacher of music.

Be able to
Fulfill musical-pedagogical and psychological-pedagogical analysis of presentational, training, testing and creative computer programs applied in musical education as well as their main types;
Design possible means of use of computer teaching and training programs in musical-pedagogical and psychological-pedagogical classes;
Apply methods of work with music oriented presentational, training, testing and creative computer programs.
C. Profession-specific competences
· Acquire skills in
- Computerization of musical education: historical aspect;
- Theoretical and methodological fundamentals of computerization of musical education;
- Types and forms of computer programs applied in musical education.
D. Scientific competences
Realization of research activity in musical education; knowledge acquisition with use of modern educational IT-technologies;
- designing and implementing of professional self-education aimed to raising the level of personal pedagogue and researcher qualification;
A. Previously required courses
Philosophy of Music (fundamentals), Russian Language Level – Advanced, Fundamentals of singing in chorus.
B. Required competences
Passion for music, analytical abilities, academic writing, text analysis, knowledge of Russian phonetics and lexical rules at least on the level of reading and conversation.

Teaching methods info
Each module has a specific resource text for curriculum foundation and reference for student reports. Texts, references, articles, worksheets, interactive workshops are all either included in the course material or referred to.
The texts and supplemental instructional materials are described by each module writer and fit the structure and purpose of each curriculum module.
Instructional materials include:

- Software (Microsoft Office 2007)
This course is taught in English and Russian
Plenary lectures: 36h = 2h per week during 18 weeks during the first semester.
Practical Classes (obliged): 18h = 2h per two weeks during 18 weeks during the first semester.
Lab Classes: (obliged): 18h = 2h per 2 weeks during 18 weeks during the first semester.

Period of examination
OR: 3 credits - 1 oral exam
OR labs: 1 credit - permanent and several computing tests
OR practical classes: 1 credit - permanent and several written tests
Different approach: 1 oral exam, the mark you get for the exam gives you the corresponding number of credits: 5 credits for A, 4 credits for B and 3 credits for C.
1 written assessment for the OR. The mark obtained in this examination is the result of the OR and the OR labs.
Higher distance education:
1 written assessment for the OR. The number of credits obtained in this examination is the result of the OR written examination.
